Unplug 2 Connect

Detach to Attach

Dissemble to Assemble

Leave to Cleave

Displace to Replace

Unplug to Connect

…but wait!

Why the need for the detaching, dissembling, leaving, displacing and unplugging?

Did something go wrong with the connection?

Was it was due to an omission, your negligence or some wrong addition?

Relax. Let’s solve this equation with patience.

Friend, God didn’t bring you here by accident.

He knew you’d be here even before today drew near.

God speaks – it’s your responsibility to listen.

Attach to God – Detach from the world.

The world’s impurities at its best will leave you rotten.

Our God in all His sovereignty will never leave you.

Even at your worst, He calls you “Never Forsaken”.

Dear One, it’s time to take a pick.

Choose wisely.

Do not be indecisive.

If you think you have got some more time, you better think twice.

Just yesterday, we screamed “Happy New Year!”. Now, it’s already past midyear.

I wish I could shake you from your very foundation and scream in your ears – “UNPLUG!”

Unplug yourself from vanities!

Connect to God Almighty!

Trust me – You really do not want to be in-between!

It’s either you love what God loves and hate what He hates or you turn your back on Him and carry the world’s baggage.

Trust me – what the world offers is too heavy to handle.

It’s unsafe to be in the middle.

It’s risky to be unstable.

Make a vow with God today.

Let Him know you are letting the world go.

Your earnestness to live for God must show.

It’s time my friend, it’s time.

Time to connect with the greatest Conductor.

The world must feel the impact of our God-infused current.

Get unplugged to connect.

Above all, remain connected to our source – GOD.

Hey There! Believe me when I tell you I’ve missed you on this space. I really have! How have these past two months been for you? Adventurously beautiful, I hope. Mine has been nothing short of the aforementioned description. From completing the “53-day Journey with Job and Ashley series” to serving at a Youth program + grinding at a 6-day Summer Camp + taking some time off Instagram and Facebook (Oh boy! I needed that break!),  I tell you – it’s been some adventurous ride. God remains ever faithful.

Now Conqueror, let’s focus on you – how has your relationship with God been lately – this month, this week , today? Are you still running on the God-path, or do you find yourself straying? Do you yearn for more of God daily, regardless of what comes your way, or are you swayed by situations because you think God might be taking too long…? Dear One, I’m on here to fulfill either of the following duties.

  1. To cheer on because you continually stride towards God’s will for your life.
  2. To call you to return HOME because you’ve either decided to stop trailing the God-path or worse still, return to your past.

God most definitely had you and I in mind when He gave me the inspiring piece I ministered at my Church last month. (You will find the video clip at the end of this post.) He desires that we disconnect from vanities and connect to Him – the Almighty. He knows the world and its pleasures will only leave us rotten. He desires that we let go of the little insignificant sins and cleave to Him. It’s amazing that God loves us in spite of all our faults. He desires to build us up, and show us off as His glorious vessels to the world. Nevertheless, there is a primary requirement for God’s will for us to become a beautiful reality.

  • The primary requirement  is one word – C O M E

Come to me, all who are tired from carrying heavy loads, and I will give you rest. Place my yoke over your shoulders, and learn from me, because I am gentle and humble. Then you will find rest for yourselves.” Matthew 11:28-29 [GWT]

“Listen! Whoever is thirsty, come to the water! Whoever has no money can come, buy, and eat! Come, buy wine and milk. You don’t have to pay; its free!” Isaiah 55:1 [GWT]

“Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him. Come, my children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD.” Psalm 34:8,11 [NIV]

Our primary need is to continually come to God. Come and put the weight off. Come and learn the ways of God. Come and find rest for your soul. Come and be blessed, eat and drink. Just leave where you are, and come. First, come. Every thing else is secondary. Keep coming until you finally abide in Him.

Beloved, I earnestly believe I have dropped a word or two that is worth meditating on, and most importantly, worth putting to work. Let’s hear the conclusion of today’s matter.

“As for us, we have this large crowd of witnesses around us. So then, let us rid ourselves of everything that gets in the way, and of the sin which holds on to us so tightly, and let us run with determination the race that lies before us.” Hebrews 12:1 [GNT]

I earnestly pray that your race on the earth will be adventurously beautiful, glorifying God, every step of the way. Enjoy the clip below, drop your comments, share with your friends and family, and have a most amazing week(end) ahead.

With Selfless Love,

Abba’s Daughter – Your Sister
